  What to buy

This is definitely the place to stock up on the famous locally hand made artefacts such as wood carved curios and woven baskets, made by
this hospitable tribe. Anyone who has travelled to Kenya will undoubtedly have come across the miniature carvings of elephants, antelopes,
lions, reptiles and even necklace pendants. The weaving of baskets is a major industry, practised mostly by women, and is a means of income to support their families.
